Spartan January 2026 Newsletter is now available!

SCI is excited to be going on an Arts and Language Trip to Carnaval in Quebec City Feb. 10th-13th 2026. There will be a parent information session on Wed. Oct. 29th at 6pm at Stayner Collegiate in the library.

On Feb. 26, the Nottawa ES community came together to raise funds and awareness as they walked in the schoolyard for the Coldest Night of the Year.

Do you have a child who is turning four in 2026? If so, it’s time to register for Kindergarten in the SCDSB!

On March 3, 102 students from secondary schools across the SCDSB gathered to celebrate the strength and resilience of young women and gender diverse students in our schools.

Grade 3 students from Andrew Hunter ES in Barrie recently experienced ‘something good’ after entering the Mega Munsch Writing Challenge.

Barrie-area students and their families are invited to attend the Skilled Trades and Post-secondary Information Night on March 5.
